Little Things Speech Pathology is a mobile Speech Pathology practice.

We provide support in homes, daycares/kindergartens, schools and within the wider community. We recognise the importance of little people and young people being in their most comfortable environments for the best outcomes.

We also:

Coordinate Care Team Meetings with wider care teams to ensure everybody is working on similar goals.

Run educational sessions for carers and educators about a young person’s communication needs.

Create resources to support learning and development at home and at school or kindergarten. 

For the Carers

Little Things Speech Pathology specialises in assessment and intervention for

  • The use and understanding of vocabulary, sentence structure and grammar to communicate messages and interact with others.

  • Both aided and unaided AAC; to support children and young people to get their message across and increase their independence.

  • The pronunciation of sounds and word.

  • The use of letters and sounds to read and spell words.

  • Using and understanding appropriate communication in social situations, such as knowing what to say, how to say it, and when to say it.

  • assessment and strategies for mealtimes, to ensure safety and comfort during drinking and eating.

For the Little and Young People

We know that talking and listening can be hard sometimes. We can help you with

  • We learn new words and how to put them together to tell stories and chat with other people.

  • We find cool ways, like special devices and signs to say what we want, in a different way.

  • We play games and practice saying sounds and words so everyone can understand us easily.

  • We can go on adventures with letters and sounds to read and write stories and spell words.

  • We learn how to talk and listen in different ways to make great friends and have awesome conversations.

  • Looking at the way you eat and drink, and helping to make it more comfortable and safe for you.

Our Fees

Little Things Speech Pathology fees are set at $193.99 per hour and travel is charged. 

  • Little Things Speech Pathology is not a registered NDIS provider, but is happy to see self-managed and plan-managed participants.

  • Little Things Speech pathology services may be eligible for reimbursement through your private health insurance extras, depending on your policy. To claim a rebate, please inform us so we can include relevant details on your receipt for submission to your insurer.

  • You may be eligible for a Medicare rebate for Little Things Speech Pathology services. You will need to obtain a Medicare Plan from your GP or Paediatrician in order to claim a rebate. Please note that we charge a gap fee, so you will have some out of pocket expenses.

  • Short notice cancellations (24 hours or less) will be charged.
