Welcome to Little Things Speech Pathology

I am Olivia, speech pathologist and founder of Little Things Speech Pathology. My favourite things to do are connecting with other people and eating delicious food. So, it only made sense to follow a path and help others with these goals.

Well before I had my own little person, I graduated from La Trobe University in 2015 with a Masters Degree in Speech Pathology. Since then, I have worked in Early Intervention (in a transdisciplinary model), with 0 - 12 years olds with developmental delays and disabilities, as well as in Speech Pathology specialising in areas of homelessness and child and youth mental health. I have been providing private speech pathology intervention and assessment in the community since 2019. My favourite areas of speech pathology include assessment and intervention for social communication and skills and Alternative and Augmentative Communication (AAC).

At Little Things Speech Pathology, we believe that speech pathology can be a fun and positive experience. We recognise the importance that the whole family and community play on a young person’s wellbeing, and are passionate about working with young people in a strength-based approach, focussing on the Little Things that they enjoy and feel good about, to help build up their confidence.

  • We have worked with Olivia for over six years and she has been a pillar of support, strength, and is an integral part of our therapy family. She has steered and directed my son Archer (12 years old and non-verbal) in the use of AAC. He has flourished under her guidance and can now consistently speak with family, staff at his school, and members of the community albeit through this AAC.

We will continue our work with Olivia well into the future, with the goal of Archer to be independent in his thinking and outward communication to the big wide world!
